How writing down your future will change your life
A brief guide to gain clarity and break through self imposed beliefs
I used to believe that:
Doing what you love won’t make you money.
The world is sick, so it’s unhealthy to be part of it.
The only way to make money is grinding your way through a hateful job.
This was just part of my reality. There were countless limiting ideas I was programmed to believe — and so I did.
I didn’t know it was possible to transcend what kept me captive inside my own mind. I didn’t even know I was captive.
I thought that I was free, but I was wrong — society was choosing for me.
The pain of not living my own life turned into a heavy weight I carried on my back until I couldn’t go on anymore.
I had to start from scratch.
I had to reconsider every single idea I had inherited.
And soon I realized about something:
All my suffering came from a construction, or as Jiddu Krishnamurti said: ‘conditionnement’.
So I learned to unlearn. I started meditating and observing all the patterns that made me a self made slave.
The more I saw, the freer I felt.
But there was an idea crippling my potential. A scary voice that still whispered:
‘Doing what you love won’t make you money’.
Was this still a belief, or actually...the truth?
I
Dreams VS Money
My toxic relationship with money was located on a deeper layer—and even when I had spent years unlearning all these patterns, this one remained untouched. It represented a culmination of years of self-observation.
Money is a tool for change—an essential asset to transform the world.
Letting it flow to you is just another skill.
It’s one of these things that will only be revealed to those who are willing to go deeper. But once it clicks, the conflict ends.
‘Creativity without business is usually victimization and business without creativity is a waste of fucking time’.
—Pharrell
If making money is a skill, then making money doing what you love is also a skill, and an art. But it’s just a matter of time and iteration to figure it out.
So… what’s the problem, fer?
Be patient—I’m trying to articulate this, and I’m still new! ^^
The problem is from school we are trained to meet deadlines that become paychecks at the end of the month as we grow up.
We establish a division between the fleeting dedication to doing what we love and the consistent act of showing up for a job that we don’t care about—but provide us with the means to survive.
It’s a fucking loop.
But the solution has always been right in front of you—and it couldn’t be simpler:
Do what you love consistently, and learn business and social media to monetize your passion.
Don’t accept “no” for an answer, and your unique path will eventually reveal itself—right before your eyes.
BUT it won’t happen if you don’t know what you want—if you don’t ground your desires in solid habits that move you closer to your goals.
That’s why writing about your future is so powerful.
II
Write your future down
Most people drift through life with a vague sense of what they want.
If I’d ask you right now, I bet you won’t give me a clear answer.
You want to get all you want but you don’t even know what that is. You get my point?
What you’re missing is clarity, and just like any skill, it sharpens with practice.
Listen:
The idea that you have power over your future isn’t just a nice thought—it’s a fact, and writing is one of the simplest, most underestimated tools to shape your reality.
So start small:
Describe a normal day for your ideal self.
Write about the kind of work that drives them.
What’s their income?
How it feels to navigate this new time-line?
And then, ask yourself honestly: what kind of person do I need to become in order to live that time-line?
Once you start applying the new habits to your life consistently, you will be able to feel how you move closer to the new reality.
This isn’t manifestation fluff. This is pure strategy.
This is landing your craziest desires in day-to-day actions to get where you want and finally proving that devoting your life to help others ain’t a mere dream, but your goddamn reality.
And remember:
If you don’t write your future, someone else will.
We will talk about this soon
